Essential Functions: JOB PURPOSEResponsible for the supervision and coordination of day-to-day operations of afterschool outreach programs, including contractors as well as employees. Assist the Project Director in the development and planning of programs.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSDirect and coordinate the implementation of C2 Pipeline Program ? Participate with and support the Project Director in developing and planning C2 Pipeline Programs.Assist with the evaluation of the program. Act as liaison with principals, central office staff, teachers and school personnel.Act as liaison with parents of students participating in the programs or are being recruited for the program. Act as liaison with WSU staff, faculty and students. Coordinate the professional development for the C2 Pipeline Program.Manage the recruitment and enrollment process of students into the program. Work with the Project Director to prepare budget projections and plans, including staffing requirements for each program. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with collaborating organizations and agencies in the community, university units, building principals, teachers, and other district personnel. Ensure compliance and alignment with Child Day Care Licensing Standards, Out of School Time Standards, Michigan Department of Education Core Standards, and other regulatory guidance. Supervision Exercised Supervision is exercised over professional, clerical, student, intern and other support staff consultants, subcontractors and volunteers. Supervision Received General supervision is received from the Project Director of the C2 Pipeline Program.
Qualifications: Knowledge ofK-12 curriculum and learning objectives and knowledge of21" CCLC afterschool enrichment programs in an urban setting acquired through the completion of a bachelor degree and a minimum of two years experience managing a K-12 afterschool enrichment program in a site or in lieu of a bachelor degree, at least five years experience in an early childhood setting and seven years working in an urban 21" CCLC learning program at the administrative level. Experience training and supervising teachers, student teachers, tutors, interns and contractors is required.
