*Specifically needed at site locations in Petoskey and Metro-Toledo. The Spring Arbor University Social Work program is seeking individuals to teach in their Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) and Master of Social Work (MSW) programs. Classes are offered to students in a variety of learning platforms including face-to-face, online, and hybrid. The position is ideal for individuals desiring to share their professional wisdom and knowledge with the next generation of social workers. Teaching assignments may include online or site locations across Michigan and Ohio.
The successful candidate will possess an MSW degree with a minimum of two years post-MSW experience.
Experience in a post-secondary academic institution teaching non-traditional and adult students preferred.
Must understand and be supportive of non-traditional students in accelerated adult-focused delivery system.
Must be experienced and comfortable with Blackboard learning management system.
Computer expertise with MS Office is required.
Good organizational and word processing skills necessary.
Ability to prioritize, complete multiple tasks, and possess good interpersonal, communication, and writing skills.
Attention to detail is essential.
Must be able to perform all essential duties satisfactorily.
