Essential Functions: The Department of Neurology seeks a Research Associate to work in the laboratory of Dr. Maria Bykhovskaia. The focus of this lab position is to perform molecular and cellular level neuroscience research aimed at understanding epilepsy mechanisms. These experiments will use a combination of approaches including in vivo viral transfections and in vitro electrophysiology in transgenic mice.
Qualifications: Applicants must have PhD and experience in molecular/cellular neuroscience and electrophysiology. The qualified individual is also expected to contribute to the writing of manuscripts.
