Maryville University is accepting applications for a full-time faculty member in Forensic Psychology with a desired start date of January 7, 2019. The position will remain open until filled. The successful candidate will teach both lower-level and upper-level undergraduate courses within the forensic psychology major, both in online and traditional face-to-face course settings. Additionally, the competitive candidate will have experience developing relationships with internship sites and program development. The successful candidate must be committed to fostering a culturally diverse atmosphere for faculty, staff, and students. Tenure track or renewable term based on qualifications. This position is based on the main campus in west Saint Louis County.
Doctoral degree in Psychology or Criminal Justice/Criminology from a regionally accredited institution, ABD considered.
Interdisciplinary experience within the field of Forensic Psychology.
College or university level teaching experience.
Student centered approach and passion for teaching and mentoring a diverse student population.
Commitment to an experiential learning philosophy.
Experience in online teaching.
Online course development experience.
Experience supervising internships.
