Essential Functions: Teach and coordinate master and doctorate degree courses. Develop course syllabi, educational objectives, and educational material ensuring compliance with the program, academic and professional standards. Assume responsibilities for students' research project, scholarly work to include publications based on education, and expertise. Participate in simulation laboratory instruction, in clinical sites visits, and in interviewing and selecting of applicants for the program. Participate in administrative duties but not limited to academic advisement, evaluation process, student assessment, recruitment, college activities, committee responsibilities. Works collaboratively with the faculty and administrative leadership of the program. Attend regional and national professional organization meetings. Be assigned other responsibilities or coordination within the program/department or college as necessary and pertinent to the demands of the Nurse Anesthesia program.
Qualifications: Seeking faculty who graduated from a COA accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program, with expertise in clinical practice, and a minimum of 2 years in an academic setting with teaching knowledge and skills at the graduate level. An earned doctorate is preferred. Applicant holds professional membership to the professional organization.
