Essential Functions: The candidate will teach in the Fashion Design program and perform other assigned duties as determined in consultation with the area coordinator for Fashion and Fiber Arts and the Department Chair. The candidate will teach five undergraduate and graduate courses per academic year and work on an individual basis with graduate students, conduct a program of creative and/or scholarly work, contribute to the intellectual life of the department, and provide appropriate professional service.Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: MFA degree in Fashion Design or a closely related field of study.The individual must provide evidence of creative work consistent with the expectations for a tenure track position at a research university.Willingness to mentor undergraduate and graduate students from diverse populations is required.
