Essential Functions: Teach graduate courses in Nurse Anesthesia in areas of expertise, in the Department of Health Care Sciences.Conduct research and/or actively participate in research activities with students that will result in presentations at research meetings. Produce scholarship closely related to the practice of Nurse Anesthesia. Work closely with program director and or other faculty to build new and/or innovative partnership across a variety of clinical and academic health care disciplines to support the academic and program missions. Provide service to the program, department, college and university as assigned.
Qualifications: Hold a minimum of a Masters degree in Anesthesia and or a doctoral degree in an appropriate field of study. Have the required Michigan RN license in addition to professional specialty certification and recertification. Applicant will demonstrate teaching experiences, research interest, scholarships, service, and evidence of a strong advocate for students success. Applicants must possess strong commitment to the state and national professional organizations.
