Essential Functions: The Department of Surgery, Division of Plastic Surgery, Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan is seeking a BC/BE plastic surgeon to join its faculty at rank to be determined. The applicant should have a strong desire to develop an academic career in plastic surgery including bench or clinical research and an interest in hand surgery and microsurgery with additional training in these areas a plus.Participate in the teaching program of medical students, residents and fellows.Scholarly activities within the Department of Surgery.Participate in administrative and committee activities within the Department of Surgery.
Qualifications: MD required.Board certified/board eligible.Valid Michigan Medical License.Commitment to academic medicine.Rank commensurate with credentials.
