The Department of Accounting and Finance at the College of Business School, invites applications for Part-Time Lecturer positions in the Finance area.
Depending on the needs of the program, which vary from semester to semester, we may need new part-time lecturers to primarily teach undergraduate and graduate courses:
FIN 350,Principles of Finance and FIN 502, MBA Principles of Finance. Other advanced courses in the BBA and MBA finance programs
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Teaching may include a number of particular obligations which employees are expected to fulfill, including but not limited to: meeting with students during and outside of assigned classes, assessing student work and performance, preparing syllabi and course materials, providing copies of syllabi and course materials to their supervisor on request, and assigning and submitting grades in accordance with established Eastern Michigan University schedules.
Perform related departmental duties as required by the Department.
Applicants with a Ph.D. and current publications are desired. Applicants with a Ph.D. who are not active in research should have significant participation in business associations, consulting activities and other practical applications in the field of finance. Practitioners, applicants without a Ph.D., must either have a current publication record or be currently working in the finance industry.
