Associate Director- Institute of Agricultural Tech
The Specialist-Outreach is also known as the Associate Director of IAT and reports to the Director of IAT. The Associate Director will provide strategic leadership and direction on all aspects of enrollment management affairs including recruitment, retention, enrollment, orientation and student success. The Associate Director will work closely with the Director in the development of an operation procedures manual that will provide policies and regulations for IAT. The Associate Director will envision a robust program of faculty and staff development to include formal career mentorship, technology, educational methodology and leadership development. The Associate Director will assist the Director in the development of trust and transparency with IAT partners. Core responsibilities of the position include
Provide Leadership for Enrollment Management (recruitment, retention, enrollment, orientation, transfer, etc.).
Assist in the development and implantation of an operating procedures manual for IAT.
Facilitating ZOOM monthly meetings for IAT Coordinators.
New staff “onboarding” and training for current program coordinators.
Assists in the development and implementation of practices to promote Lifelong Education (LE) and Gifted and Talented Education (GATE) enrollment in IAT.
Develop program that will increase student success.
Assists in developing and maintaining relations with community colleges partners and CANR Department.
Other duties as assigned by the Director.
Masters -Education administration or agricultural
Doctorate -Education administration or agricultural
Master Degree in educational administration or an agricultural related discipline.
Fifteen years of experience in higher education.
Experience in program management and student services.
Ph.D. in educational administration or an agricultural related discipline.
Experience in recruitment and retention of students.
Agricultural business experience.
Skills in career planning and placement.
