Essential Functions: Will act as a project coordinator for the study, Stress Risk and Resilience in Syrian and Iraqi Refugees and Survivors of Torture. In this role, you will schedule visits with participants, lead the visits, and assist with the translation of questionnaires and collection of data. Additionally, as a Research Assistant, you will assist on all other studies for the STARC team including design, data collection, data analysis, and publication of findings.These additional studies include a neuroimaging study on fear conditioning and extinction learning, an augmented reality study for treatment of small animal phobias, an intervention program for trauma-exposed individuals, and a developing study of the herbal supplement kava.
Qualifications: MD with a focus in psychiatry; fluent in Arabic
