Provide counseling and advice to students and parents about financial services, financial aid, financial literacy, student account and billing, payment plans and student employment. Process financial aid applications, including budgeting, packaging of awards, revising award, verification, and resolving conflicting information. Deliver exceptional customer service through various communication systems. Conduct workshops, seminars, presentations, etc. about financial assistance programs. Demonstrate integrity and ethical behavior in working with confidential information and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Bachelor’s degree required. Superior customer service skills. Minimum one year experience in higher education financial services advising and aid processing. Working knowledge of current student financial assistance programs and financial service operations. Experience and knowledge in student account and billing methods and student employment practices preferred. Excellent technical database skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work well under pressure. Excellent organizational, time management and analytical skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
