The Department of Accounting & Information Systems in the Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University is seeking applications for two fixed-term faculty positions. The primary teaching responsibilities will be in the area of financial accounting at the undergraduate and/or graduate level. Additional duties include student advising and curriculum development. This is a nine-month academic year appointment. Candidate must have a PhD, or expect to complete their Ph.D. by June 1, 2019 for an August 16 start date, and a record of excellent teaching skills at the undergraduate or graduate level to a diverse student body. There are no research requirements for this position. The position will start August 16, 2019.
PhD in Business with an emphasis in accounting (entry-level candidates must expect to complete their Ph.D. by June 1, 2019 for an August 16 start date). Ability to teach financial accounting courses at the undergraduate or graduate level.
A demonstrated record of excellence in teaching and in research is preferred.
