Research - Laboratory/Non-Laboratory, Staff/Administrative
Manage programmer team deliverable(s) - reports to 104 hospital programs in Michigan, website changes, hospital report changes (for 3 quality improvement projects led by 5 UM Michigan Medicine faculty - Drs. Gurm, Henke, Grossman, Chetcuti, Patel.
Develop, analyze and provide information to support BCBSM (the financial sponsor of all 3 quality improvement projects) in their assessment of BMC2 "value" including: cost savings analysis assumptions and data for PCI, and Vascular Surgery Mid/Annual Report performance data, Future Initiative Planning documents, ROI related data for actuarial assessments - and operate as the liaison to BCBSM.
Develop and implement new web enabled case review process working with programmers, nurses and physician directors. Identify problems and implement solutions working with members of the BMC2 team.
Support 104 hospital programs and their data coordinators in their BMC2 role: provide training, manage questions, identify problems for users, troubleshoot website issues, resolve and manage solutions to user problems.
Manage the implementation of new data collection fields and changes in quarterly reporting by providing specification documents to programmers, establishing a timetable for release, performing a QC, announcing changes.
Support BMC2 leadership in meeting planning and preparation by developing information slides, literature reviews, meeting materials and provision of technical support.
Master's degree, 5+years of experience working in a healthcare environment, strong computer skills including excel, power point, Microsoft office, experience with managing data collection for research/quality, strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills, careful attention to detail.
