Job Description Summary:
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment and instrumentation used in the Department of Chemistry for both teaching and research laboratories. Provide assistance to the Department Chair and Laboratory Manager.
Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related area with extensive laboratory experience or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Wide knowledge of the proper use and care of chemistry laboratory equipment and instrumentation. Minimum two years' experience in maintaining and repairing electronic equipment such as spectrometers, computers, printers, etc. Troubleshooting skills are required. Excellent organizational and analytical skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
