Essential Functions: - Full-time position available for a research assistant on a NIH-funded grant that will develop interventions to improve illness management among adolescents with asthma.- Primary duties include collection of questionnaire and interview data from study participants, using specialized knowledge, to analyze and interpret data obtained from participant testing, and data entry. - Employees typically analyze, compare and evaluate various courses of action and have the authority to make independent decisions on matters of significance, free from immediate direction, within the scope of their responsibilities. Evening and weekend availability is required, as is willingness to conduct data collection visits in participants' homes.
Qualifications: - Employees in this classification are required a minimum of a Bachelor degree in Psychology or a recognized field of science related to this position is required. Reliable transportation is required. Experience working with children and/or adolescents is preferred, as is experience with clinical research.
