Annual student population is approximately 2000. The Director of Enrollment & Student Engagement provides leadership, management, and planning for the student admissions and student outreach processes. The Director works within the community and local school districts to ensure awareness of college programs and to provide assistance with the enrollment process. In addition, the Director works with students and other campus constituencies to coordinate student life activities and provide opportunities for student development. The Director of Enrollment & Student Engagement reports directly to the Dean of Student Services.
Required Qualifications …
Master’s degree from an accredited institution in a relevant area of study (e.g. psychology/sociology, educational leadership, student affairs administration, marketing)
Minimum of four years of relevant administrative or professional work experience.
Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated proficiency in the use of windows based software applications such as Microsoft Office.
Ability to prioritize work responsibilities, adapt to changing duties, and to work independently.
Ability to thrive in an environment of change.
Exceptional interpersonal and organizational
Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with all segments of the college community.
Demonstrated commitment to the mission and goals of the comprehensive community college.
Demonstrated passion for working in various capacities with a wide age range of students.
Preferred Qualifications …
Experience within a community college setting.
Knowledge of computerized student information systems.
