Essential Functions: The School of Social Work and the Mike Illitch School of Business at Wayne State University are seeking to fill a non-tenure track Lecturer for the 2019-2020 Academic Year. This would be a one year appointment with the possibility of additional 1 year contract. The full time teaching load for this position is seven courses during the Academic Year. The selected candidate would be teaching courses on social entrepreneurship, social impact investing, non-profit management; as well as macro level social work courses. The candidate would also be asked to perform the following duties:-Develop, improve and deliver courses at the undergraduate and graduate level-Lead development and implement the 'social impact track' within the certificate program.-Support students.-Develop activities to foster community engagement.-Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Candidates must have earned both an MSW and MBA and be licensed as a Social Worker in the state of Michigan.All candidates should also be able to show effective past teaching experience. Position is contingent on funding,
