Essential Functions: The Eugene Applebaum College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (EACPHS) at Wayne State University (WSU) is seeking a 12-month, clinical track faculty position in the Pharmacy Practice Department. The Director of Faculty Development and Coordinator of Interprofessional Education is responsible for developing and delivering a comprehensive program to support the career-long development of faculty in the areas of teaching and learning, while providing guidance for research and service responsibilities. Essential Functions:Managing a mentorship programSupporting active learning pedagogies (established and innovative)Building faculty development programs, and supporting efforts to enhance student learning. Assist the chair in providing evaluation and feedback in this department of 35 faculty members as described in the AAUP-AFT contract. Work with faculty in other health professional programs to expand and maintain interprofessional education within the Doctor of Pharmacy Program. Responsibilities to include teaching, research and service as aligned with expertise and departmental needs.
Qualifications: Candidates must possess the Doctor of Pharmacy degree and have completed post-doctoral residency and/or fellowship training or possess equivalent experience.A record of excellence in teaching and service is required.
