Essential Functions: The Department of Internal Medicine is seeking a Research Assistant with expertise in physiological measures of respiratory function during wakefulness and sleep. Essential Duties include: Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Perform instrumentation for sleep and respiratory recording using polysomnography.Perform sleep studies scoring. Have good communication skills with patients and research participants. Perform data summary and statistical tests.Present research progress regularly to the PI and his research team.Take responsibility in protecting the scientific data, managing the set up and record of studies.
Qualifications: Bachelor or Master's degree with experience in human sleep and respiratory physiology.
