Drake University seeks a visionary and inspiring academic Dean to lead the School of Education in continued excellence. As the chief academic officer of the School, the Dean plays a vital role in creating and maintaining key relationships across the institution and in the wider community, providing leadership to department chairs in support of faculty pedagogical, scholarly, and professional development, and demonstrating the importance of an inclusive and excellent professional education for all students at the University. Successful candidates will have a strong track record of achievement in positions of academic leadership, demonstrated abilities to work with donors and community partners, a vision for the future of higher education, and strong skills in communication, planning, budgeting, leadership and project implementation.
