The Department of English in the College of Arts and Humanities at Central Washington University (Ellensburg, WA), invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position, with responsibility for teaching university-level courses, both graduate and undergraduate. Advise students who are majors in the program. Keep up-to-date in field of studies. Engage in departmental and university service. Teach courses on transnational and global literature, LGBTQ+Literature, Literature and Social Justice, Asian North American Literature, literary surveys, and literary theory and methods.
Ph.D. in English or English Literature, or a closely related field.
Must have one year experience as an Instructor, Teaching Assistant, Lecturer, Researcher (English Languages or English Literature) or related.
Experience must include teaching literature courses at the university level, a strong publication record especially in the area of Asian North American Literature and Transnational Literature.
Prior successful work with a diverse student population.
Experience teaching multinational literatures on themes that cross national borders.
