Support and improve business processes through the development and support of software applications and databases by analyzing stakeholder requirements and business needs. Maintain SAU's SIS/ERP solution throughout its upgrade lifecycles, and provide support for other enterprise applications. Analyze complex data sets and systems to maximize business value and operational effectiveness.

Working knowledge of IT service methodologies within Higher Education that includes Student, Faculty and Academic Support.
Baseline Linux/Unix skills.
Experience with troubleshooting principles, methodologies, and issue resolution techniques.
Working knowledge of Linux commands, editors and scripting languages.
Hands-on experience developing test cases and test plans.
Required Education and/or Experience
Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related work experience as System Administrator or similar IT operations role. Work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
Minimum 2 years of experience in software support, development or a similar IT role.
Preferred Education and/or Experience
Experience with service delivery within an IT standards framework such as ITIL or ITSM.
HTTP Web services; NGINX, Apache, IIS or NodeJS.
SQL Tools and ETL.
Java or other JDK Dynamic Language, NodeJS, Python or C#
Shell Scripting (e.g. Bash)
SIS Platform experience
CRM (Salesforce, MS Dynamics, other SaaS-based platforms)
