Essential Functions: Provide research support for the active grants and contracts for faculty in the Epidemiology Division within the Population Studies Program. Facilitate research business operations by serving as liaison with procurement, grants and contracts, and other processes related to research efforts. Assist with grant/contract proposal preparation. Provide documentation necessary for grant/contract closeout for financial status reports.Facilitate all procurement related activities for the Epidemiology Division.Collaborate with Study Coordinators to oversee and manage research subject incentives in Epidemiology. Collaborate with Research Administration and SOM Fiscal Affairs to facilitate and ensure efficient research program operations.Provide guidance on administrative policies/procedures to the Epidemiology Division staff.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required.Strong organizational skills, initiative and follow-through, and must work well as part of a team. Ability to plan and prioritize under circumstances of tight deadlines and competing tasks. Ability to work independently and to take initiative.Proficient with Microsoft Office.Results-oriented, plus excellent analytical and communication skills. Sound professional judgment required, must maintain confidentiality at all times and sign a confidentiality pledge.Exceptional interpersonal skills required and excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary to effectively deal with individuals both inside and outside the organization from diverse backgrounds.
