Essential Functions: Process/Store/Ship ECHO Recruitment Samples from approximately 300 participantsProcess/Store CHARM Recruitment and Follow-Up Samples from approximately 300 participantsOrganize and pull study samples for analysisAnalyze Newborn Blood Spots (we are currently discussing amount we will have available for analysis in year 5, assume 100 spots for now)Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required for Research Assistant in a related fieldPh.D. required for Research Associate in a related fieldCITI Training for working with human biospecimen will be necessary before work can begin. Prior CITI training is preferable but training can be provided after employment.Additional training by ECHO online resources will be extensive. Must have basic molecular biology laboratory experienceApplicants with Bioinformatics and database management expertise would be given greater priorities for employment.
