Essential Functions: WAYNE STATE UNIVERSITY LAW SCHOOL is seeking to fill up to two tenure-track or tenured faculty positions. We encourage applications from candidates who will enhance the diversity of our faculty and whose scholarship engages with questions of social justice.Although we welcome applications from candidates in all fields, we have particular interest in the following areas: (i) race and the law and/or critical race theory, (ii) tax or a combination of tax and business, and (iii) criminal law and criminal procedure.Teaching - prepare, teach, and evaluate assigned courses.Use teaching strategies appropriate to learning needs.Work with other faculty on committees or a task force of a committee.Initiate research projects in areas of expertise.
Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited law school with JD degree, prior significant teaching experience or practice experience. Present ability to perform the work required.
