Starting in 2012, the Department conducted a series of strategic searches for tenure-track research faculty and fixed-term clinical faculty focused on autism and other neurodevelopmental conditions. Our basic biological researchers, general pediatricians, and pediatric specialists have forged strong cooperative relationships with Spectrum Health, the Van Andel Research Institute, Wayne State University, the University of Michigan, and a number of clinics in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. We plan to expand the clinical side of our program even further with the addition of a developmental- behavioral pediatrician serving patients in the Lansing-East Lansing area. Clinical activities will account for between 50-70% of their time, with the remainder divided between teaching, committee service, and research or scholarly activities.
This is a non-tenure track, fixed-term junior faculty position at the Assistant Professor rank. Salary is commensurate with qualifications.
