Katke Golf Course is looking for a part time operations assistant managing outdoor facilities, cart barn, and equipment. Responsibilities will include oversee staff, training new staff on golf cart process, upkeep of light equipment/supplies, manage/schedule cart maintenance, keep areas clean and organized, assist with closing facilities at the end of shifts. This position will assist with managing projects and events as needed. This is a seasonal position working 24-28 hours a week, April through October.

Golf experience preferred but not required.Experience with customer service, project/event management, leadership skills
Assist with golf operations and oversee cart barn and storage areas. Available to open and close the facility as needed. Assist with management and training of staff. Maintain carts and schedule necessary maintenance and repairs. Assist guests and provide a high level of customer service. Organize event supplies and equipment such as signage, coolers, tents. Participate with the planning and execution of special events.
Skills and Abilities:
Basic computer skills with proficiency with Microsoft Office for email, excel and word documents. Ability to communicate clearly, effectively, friendly both orally and in writing. Strong interpersonal skills in dealing with a diverse student, member and customer population. Ability to organize projects and processes and communicate the plan/process to improve efficiency’s and execute events.
