CHIEF NURSING OFFICER (University Hospital & Frankel Cardiovascular Center)
Basic Function and Responsibilities The Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) provides leadership in all aspects of Nursing in the University Hospital and Cardiovascular Center Nursing services, including the Adult Psychiatric Services. The Chief Nursing Officer will have full accountability for nursing practice and partner with the Chief Clinical Officer (CCO) for operational clinical services and assigned patient care services throughout UH/CVC integrating the Michigan Medicine values and principles with a focus on patient and family centered care. The incumbent must be able to assume the System CNE responsibilities as needed.
