Provide a high level of executive support of a confidential nature, requiring independent judgment and planning, for the Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost.
Associate's degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Five years secretarial experience. Ability to manage complex calendars and scheduling. Possess the keyboarding skills necessary to perform successfully in this position, minimum 30 wpm. Knowledge of proper grammar, spelling and punctuation. Ability to compose routine correspondence. Advanced word processing, database and spreadsheet skills, as demonstrated by a skills assessment. Excellent organizational and analytical skills. Detail oriented with the ability to track deadlines. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with the public, students, faculty, and staff. Ability to work well with executive management and on highly confidential matters. Ability to work flexible hours.
