Essential Functions: Coordinate clinical placements for Educational Partnerships and Experiences (EdP&E) Assist Director in sustaining positive partnerships with K-12 schools.Maintain EdP&EAssist Director in implementing Teacher Education Division's continuous improvement plansParticipate in the planning and coordination of all semester activitiesMaintain EdP&E core program documents, including calendars, course syllabi, handbooks, evaluation materials, and website contentParticipate in weekly team meetingsLiaise with Academic Advisors to support students and attend monthly meetings.Coordinate EdP&E Canvas sites and listservs.Coordinate EdP&E use of digital platform for instructional coachingCoordinate EdP&E data collection and rubrics for CAEP accreditation, and Michigan Department of Education complianceCoordinate course compliance for EdP&E coursesCoordinate Capstone Celebration with University teacher preparation faculty, K-12 school partners, and community partners.Assist Director to support Clinical Instructional Coach's professional growthAssist Director and Clinical Instructional Coaches to provide additional support for Teaching Interns needing assistance
Qualifications: Master's in Education or comparable field;Successful experience working in urban K-12 schools serving diverse students;Successful experience with instructional coaching;Strong technology skills; Excellent time management, organization, and oral and written communication skills;Successful experience interacting with students, faculty, and the public;Excellent interpersonal skills, strong work ethic, and the ability to act effectively as a team player; andKnowledge of teacher certification requirements.
