Posted: 23-Jun-22 Location: Nationwide Salary: Open Internal Number: 58857-en_US The Johns Hopkins University is seeking candidates for the position of Director of Investments within its Investment Office, reporting directly to the Managing Director of Investments. The Investment Office has responsibility for investing the endowments for the University, Johns Hopkins Hospital, and other related endowed entities totaling more than $6 billion, among many other assets.
The Director of Investments will be an integral member of the Investment Office, leading our healthcare investment activities and taking on important responsibilities that span the endowment and related portfolios. The position will play a key role conducting due diligence on new and existing investment managers across public and private equity and credit, with a particular focus on biotechnology, pharmaceutical, healthcare and related technology investment opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS: The successful candidate will have a record of demonstrable success in prior healthcare work experience, which may include roles in investment management, investment banking, management consulting and/or corporate strategy, and/or as a physician taking care of patients. Strong academic achievement is required, as well as the highest standards of personal and professional ethics and integrity. Personal fit within a dynamic team is essential.
A Bachelor's degree is required.
An M.B.A., M.D., Ph.D. and/or Master's degree is strongly preferred.
