The Michigan School of Psychology (MSP) seeks talented applicants who are committed to excellence in teaching for full-time faculty positions. There is opportunity for a multiple year contract after the first year of successful employment. Full-time faculty responsibilities include teaching master’s and doctoral level courses, advising and supervision of students, facilitation of student research, chairing dissertations, and membership on faculty and institutional committees. This is a full-time,12-month, in-person appointment with competitive salary and benefits. Positions begin in the 2022-2023 academic year, consisting of three semesters, with the opportunity for a multiple year contract after the first year of successful employment. Faculty report to the Dean of Academic Programs. The workload typically consists of:
The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated commitment to and experience in working with diverse populations; will support the values and vision of MSP; possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills; a commitment to the practitioner-scholar model of teaching; and a record of achievement in the field of health services psychology, research and clinical practice. MSP is especially interested in candidates who, through their research, teaching, and/or service, will contribute to the diversity and excellence of the MSP community.
