Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:
- Must reside in the state of Ohio.
- A baccalaureate degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited institution of higher education. Candidates with a master's degree in Nursing will be given preference. Current active unrestricted licensure as a registered nurse in Ohio. Experience of a least two years in the practice of nursing as a registered nurse. Recent clinical experience required. Requires current certification of Basic Life Support. Requires successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
- Ability to communicate effectively and maintain positive working relationships with students, peers, supervisors, and staff.
- Willingness to teach and communicate using a variety of instructional modes, email and online learning management systems.
- Commitment to meeting students' learning needs and empowering students in their learning endeavors.
- Personal and educational philosophy compatible with the mission, values, goals, and objectives of Central Ohio Technical College.
- Requires successful completion of a background check.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous teaching experience and experience with curriculum development and assessment.
